Reading wall lengths, deducting openings, totalling areas — then the same again for every material category. This is the work that ends up being finished in the evening or at the weekend, and it is not billable.
A mis-measured quantity comes out of your own pocket
If the masonry quantity comes out lower than reality, the difference is your loss. If it comes out higher, your quote is more expensive than the competition — the error punishes you in both directions.
The client cannot see how you got to the number
A lumped “masonry: X” line is something the client cannot verify, so they will negotiate. An itemised quote backed by quantities is far harder to argue with.

How it works, step by step
Upload the drawings
PDF floor plan (required), plus site plan and section if you have them. For multi-storey buildings, one floor plan per storey.
Wait 1–3 minutes
The system reads the rooms, dimensions, doors and windows, and wall structures. A single-storey plan is often done within a minute.
Review and correct
Every value can be changed on the review screen. This is where you set the actual wall build-ups, floor finishes and any missing parameters.
Price it and export
Enter your own unit rates, pick the relevant material categories, then download the report as PDF or Excel.
